Create a Piece of Boadwalk History

Deny Howeth, photographer and artist, will be using a vintage postcard image and an 11-inch piece of wood from the Boardwalk to help you create a piece of Rehoboth memorabilia to take home.  When sections of the Boardwalk were replaced over the years not all of the removed wood was in bad condition. Pieces were salvaged and cut into 11-inch pieces, which the Museum was able to acquire.

 The fee for the class is $40.00, which includes craft material and the piece of Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk. We will provide the postcard image from our archival collection. We are limiting the class size to 10 people so that everyone will have a chance to learn the process. As time allows you will create a smaller transfer piece using different materials.
