Golden Age of Rehoboth: Railroad Era
DE 19971, US
Over the past year Paul Lovett, has immersed himself in the history of our City during the late 1800s and early 1900s, the Railroad Era. Paul is creating a dioramic display of Rehoboth Avenue extending from the end of the fishing pier off Horn's Pavilion, back across the Canal to the interesting railroad switching year. The tabletop first phase of the diorama depicts a cross section of 1910 Rehoboth Avenue with models of the buildings that existed at the time and the railroad station with an arriving passenger train. Public is invited at 6:30pm to see the diorama and memorabilia followed by a presentation, Golden Age of Rehoboth: Railroad Era, at 7:00pm with Mr. Lovett.
