Storms and the Cape Henlopen Lighthouse
Rehoboth Beach, US
Michael Morgan will be at the Rehoboth Beach Museum for a book signing and presentation. Michael's latest book is about the vulnerability of coastal Delaware, Maryland and Virginia to storms and storm driven shipwrecks. Since the early nineteenth century these stroms have led to drastic changes to our shorelines. Michael narrates the stories of these storms and reminds us of the power of wind and water. The Cape Henlopen Lighthouse fell into the sea in 1926. Michael will talk how storms contributed to its demise.
His book will be available for purchase the night of the program.
